THE ORIGINS
TRIPLOOO, from the desire of an adult ...
The creation of TRIPLOOO is a love story.
It is the story of a father who wanted to create something interesting to have fun with his son by stimulating his creativity.
The project was to build a trike to race together.
The trike has been shaping slowly,
by recovering unused materials at home,
by buying the little necessary materials and ironware,
by building the transmission pulley by mean of a 3D printer,
by using batteries and motors from model aircraft,
by getting an open-source controller,
by using an Ikea chair,
by adapting the wheels of an old hang glider and a handlebar of a scooter.
Soon, the two discovered that the real fun was being together and the project took shape; father and son spent their time together drawing, studying, testing, assembling, making mistakes, disassembling and reassembling.
The outcome was not only a fully functional and stable trike on the road but a real eco-vehicle, the result of ingeniously assembled recycled materials.

… to the challenge of a child.
And here the son challenged his father:
how was it possible that the two of them had managed to build an almost perfect vehicle from nothing and with little expense, while the great car manufacturers were unable to manufacture a simple vehicle, which could be useful for humanity and respectful of the planet?
The father, struck by his son's sagacity and attention to the environment, decided that he, as an adult, had to give him an answer.
Therefore, he worked and created a very performing electric motor vehicle, with three wheels.
But the story did not stop there...
THE CHALLENGE
Gianluca Fabris and Massimiliano Adinolfi are the fathers who took up the challenge. The two have gained decades of experience in their respective jobs: Gianluca in the electronic and industrial automation sector, Massimiliano in the field of metal carpentry.
Following the experience of building the trike with their respective children, in 2019 Gianluca and Massimiliano decided to apply their knowledge and their technical expertise in the self-construction of the vehicle. The idea was to build a real fully green vehicle to be put on the road: not only an electric car, but a light and smart vehicle, easy to use by anyone to move in the urban traffic, without generating pollution.
THE REVOLUTIONARY IDEA
This project aimed to obtain the most efficient energy solution, with the lowest impact of emissions from fuels obtained from fossil sources.
In 2020, Gianluca and Massimiliano worked on the vehicle's electrical and power supply project: they developed a solar charging system through panels, supported by a self-built battery they designed ad hoc and made it also working as an accumulator.
This idea was simply innovative and revolutionary.
THE DESIGN
In 2021 the attention and efforts of the two inventors are focused on the design and construction of mechanics, as well as on the implementation of the electrical system.
Inspired by the silhouette of the iconic spinner from the cult film “Blade Runner”, they create a prototype of a 3-wheeled vehicle, with an aluminum chassis and bodywork.
In the summer of 2021 they finally put the prototype on the asphalt to evaluate its stability and performance.
At the end of 2021 the design was registered and is now protected by registration for design and model No. 402021000003155. (Owners Adinolfi Massimiliano and Fabris Gianluca)
THE PATENT
The amazing test results and the peculiarities of the vehicle prototype persuaded Gianluca and Massimiliano that the electric trike powered by solar energy was an invention that could undermine the concept of mobility as it has been experienced up to now.
In November 2022, after a long design period and after testing the prototype on the field, they filed the patent application for a new "vehicle with very high energy efficiency"; in parallel, they matured the idea of disclosing to the world the benefits of their invention, which, at the beginning of 2022, was baptized with the registered name of TRIPLOOO.
